MNVBCA All-State Teams

The MNVBCA sponsors All-State teams for the top 22 players in each class (14 1st team, 8 honorable mention). All-State players are nominated by their respective coaches, and selected by the panel of Section Representatives upon the conclusion of the regular season. Senior All-State players are invited to play in the annual All-Star Match in coordination with the MNVBCA Coaches Clinic.

How to Nominate a Player for 2020 All-State Awards

To nominate one of your players for All-State consideration, follow the steps below:
1. Submit information about your player for the All-State Watch List via the online form by September 1. Maximum five nominations per team. While this is not a hard deadline, any player nominated after this deadline may be at a disadvantage during the selection process, as section representatives may not have an opportunity to observe the player. The number of nominations submitted (not names of players submitted) will appear on the received nominations spreadsheet within 48 hours of receipt. This can be accessed through the link to the right with the password supplied to head coaches via email in Week 2 of the season. Contact Greg Sayuk with questions or concerns.

2. Stats for All-State nominated players must be submitted via the online form by 11:59 pm on Monday, October 21. Maximum five submissions per team. Any stat submissions after this deadline will not be considered. The number of players submitted by each team (not players submitted) will appear on the Received Stats Submissions spreadsheet within 48 hours of receipt. Coaches can confirm their submissions through link to the right with the password supplied to head coaches via email in Week 2. Contact Greg Sayuk with questions or concerns.

3. Email notifications will be sent to players/coaches of players that have been named to the MNVBCA All-State Team (coaches will also be notified if their player(s) was not selected) on Monday, October 28. All-State Teams will be announced and presented at the State Tournament Banquet on Wednesday, November 6.

Ms. Baden Volleyball Award

Each year, one player is selected for the Ms. Baden Volleyball Award, which goes to Minnesota's top senior volleyball player. Only seniors are considered for this award, and the voting is based on career achievements/accomplishments. When narrowing the field to the top five finalists for the Ms. Baden Volleyball Award, each competitive class (AAA, AA, and A) is represented with at least one player in the group.
